Durham Welcomes Royal Spectacle: The King’s and Queen’s Grand Maundy Thursday Ceremony

On Maundy Thursday—a key day in the Christian calendar—King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Durham Cathedral.
They joined a service rooted in tradition. The King returned after a year away because of health concerns.
